Demonstration Day at Gymnastics

Jackson goes to a gymnastics class on Thursdays
and has really enjoyed it. He started back in early
fall and looks forward to going every week. This
past week was the demonstration day where they
got to show off their skills and got a medal and
certificate. Even though he does not always listen
during class he always gets excited when we tell
him it is time for class. Maybe he will learn a little
coordination skills since Jeff and I seem to only have
a little bit of it.

The Polar Express

We took Jackson to the Polar Express ride last
Friday night. We decided not to tell him we were
going until Friday morning because we knew he
would ask us all week when he was going on the
train and sure enough we heard him ask from the
time we left our house until we got on the train.
He got to dress in his pjs (thank you Grandma for
the early Christmas present). We had so much fun
and just to see his smile when he saw Santa on
the train was worth the whole trip.

Outside the hotel leaving for the ride

Jackson loved looking out the window watching
for Santa and the North Pole

Everyone got a cup of hot chocolate and a
marshmallow Santa-Jackson was beyond
excited and wired after all the sugar

He spotted the Christmas lights outside the train

Santa just arrived on our car-the smile says
it all
All the kids got a jingle bell-Jackson kept shaking
his and singing Jingle Bells

Good Friends

I got to spend the day today with my two best friends from PT school. We rarely get time together anymore these days with families to occupy most of our time. I love when we get together-it reminds me of how fortunate I am to be blessed with such awesome friends-you know the kind that can always pick up with from right where you left off like you had not missed a day talking to each other. I love you Misty and Lee and am so grateful and thankful to call you my friends.

Catching Up

It has been quite awhile since I updated the blog. It seems as if this last month has flown by and it is so hard to believe Christmas is almost upon us. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. My parents came up for the long weekend and we enjoyed a delicious meal and time of relaxing on Thanksgiving day at my brother and sister in law's house. Then we got to enjoy the Clemson vs. USC game-even through the rain we had a great time. We are all decorated for Christmas and most of the presents are bought and wrapped. I just love this time of year and only wish it could last a little longer each year!!

Happy Halloween

Halloween was a blast this year for Jackson. He dressed
as a Tiger player with his helmet being his favorite
part of the costume. We went with my brother, sister in law,
and nephews around their neighborhood. For the firsttime
he understood that he got to go from house to house and get
candy. He would get out of his Uncle Andy's truck and take off
running to the front doors yelling "Ring the bell, Ring the bell!"
At the end of the night he said "My bag is full" and enjoyed a few
pieces of his candy. He woke up Saturday morning saying
"We go Trick or Treating again?"

Happy 3rd Birthday Jackson!!!

Jackson's actual birthday was October 27.
It is so hard to believe that my baby is now
3 years old. It seems as if only yesterday we
were still planning for his arrival. Words can
not express how much of a blessing he has been
to us and how truly blessed we feel to be his
parents. So Happy Birthday to my pumpkin.
You make me proud to be your mom.

Halloween Party at the Rabideaux's

The Rabideaux's hosted their 3rd annual
Halloween party this past Saturday night
The kids dressed up in their costumes and had
a blast playing with each other and doing their
fun activities Legare' had planned for them. They
made masks, wrapped up in streamers to be
mummies, and stuffed a Scarecrow. Thank you
Dallas and Legare' for another wonderful Halloween
party.

Callaham's Orchards

We took Jackson to Callaham's Orchards in Belton
on Saturday to have a day to celebrate with him for his birthday.
We had a great time with him. He got to feed some animals (which
I was very surprised that he did), go on a hayride, and pick some
apples. He really took to picking the apples and running to put
them in the box. We had a great time. It is always so great to
have time for just the three of us to spend together.

Party at the Zoo

On Sunday October 19th we celebrated Jackson's
3rd birthday with a party at the zoo. We kept it small
this year and had our immediate family join us. Jackson
had a blast. He loves animals especially elephants and tigers.
He was disappointed that the Greenville Zoo did not have
a rhino but he quickly forgot and had lots of fun. Thanks to our
family for coming and helping us celebrate our blessing.
